Réédition. Parti de Kuujjuaq pour Aupaluk, le Beaver est pris dans la tourmente, déporté, il se brise les ailes dans une forêt d'épinettes. Les quatre passagers, trois hommes dont un blessé et une femme, survivent à l'impact. Parmi eux, un métis (le narrateur) prend l'initiative et trouve une ligne de trappe. Les pistes les mènent à un chalet. Le blessé meurt, un autre s'enfonce sous la glace. Les deux autres ont la vie sauve. -- Le récit, rédigé dans un style narratif, est bien mené, mais le thème n'est pas renouvelé. Aucune surprise, rien de nouveau et une conclusion prévisible. [SDM] |
